Our Vision
The Vision of The University of Montana Nora Staael Evert Clinic is to be the first choice for university students, staff and faculty seeking physical therapy outpatient services.
As an integral part of the School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science, the vision of the clinic is also to provide a setting for educational and scholarly opportunities.
Our History
Nora Staael Evert, a pioneer of physical therapy in the 1950´s, originally studied dance in NYC. Instrumental in starting the UM PT Clinic in 1967, she was known for her positive energy, strength, creativity and originality. Her spirit carries on as the staff of the UM PT Clinic strives to provide high quality and innovative care for every kind of movement dysfunction.
Students
The Nora Staael Evert Clinic provides an active, stimulating environment appropriate to the learning needs of the physical therapy students.
Location
The Nora Staael Evert Clinic is located in the UM campus in the North East corner of the Skaggs Building, room 129. The New Directions Wellness Center is in room 113 on the same level.

Monday - Friday: 8AM - 6PM
New Directions Gym Hours
Monday, Wednesday, & Friday: 8AM - 5PM
Tuesday & Thursday: 9AM - 5PM
Parking Directions
From Arthur and Beckwith intersection:
Head East on Beckwith St. Turn left (north), at first parking lot entrance, which is Maurice St. Proceed to the end, into the Reserved Parking lot, which is where our parking spaces are located. Physical therapy parking is on the left-hand side of the lot and is number 4. If #4 is full you can use the designated New Directions parking spaces.
Clinic Directions
From parking lot:
Walk east past the Health Science Building. Continue east under breezeway of Skaggs Building. Turn left after breezeway and head north alongside Skaggs Building. Use east entrance of Skaggs Building, across from Urey and North Underground Lecture Halls. Physical Therapy Clinic is the first door on the right, Room 129, inside of the doors.
